FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has two ears for receiving rods. The device has coupling unit with polyhedral member over external surface threaded inside with left-hand thread on one half of length and with right-hand one on the other half. The ears for receiving rods transform to conic incompletely longitudinally cut screws one of which having right-hand thread and the other one left-hand thread to enable its setting into the coupling unit. The ears are unclosed elastic deformable structures having concentrically variable diameters for adjusting rod compression force and distance separating them when moving the coupling unit along the incompletely longitudinally cut screws axis. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of surgical treatment; accelerated treatment course in hospital. ^ 2 dwg
