FIELD: electromechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling system designed for totally enclosed electrical machine functions as follows: internal air heated in axial ducts of rotor is ejected by fan through holes disposed over frame diameter to frame longitudinal ducts accommodating lengthwise ribs dividing these ducts into a number of short duct groups which are spaced apart. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat transfer from internal air to water in longitudinal ducts of frame. ^ 1 cl, 3 dwg
