The device has a sub unit with a functional piece (2) hooked elastically in a stopped position and moved outside by an activator reacting to a temperature. Another sub unit has another piece (5) moved outside when exceeding a threshold value of pressure between two volumes. The sub units are integrated and a movement of piece (2) outside its locked position leads a movement of piece (5) contrary to its elastic solicitation. An independent claim is also included for a cooling system for an automobile with an internal combustion engine.
