FIELD: mechanics; support-and-rotation mechanisms for antenna systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism is characterized in absence of supporting point in axes of revolution which eliminates re-reflection during fine alignment of antenna system phase center with center or revolution of mechanism and does not bring in any error when measuring antenna system directivity pattern and when taking radar bearing characteristics. This mechanism is free to rotate relative to vertical and horizontal axes in common center of revolution. Guiding gear is made in the form of three bows moving relative to horizontal and vertical axes. Two vertical bows are moving in two links fixed in position inside third horizontal bow, and the latter is moving within third fixed link. ^ EFFECT: provision for eliminating error in directivity pattern measurements and in radar bearing characteristics. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg |
