摘要

PURPOSE: A bidirectional input/output buffer for preventing the leakage current is provided to easily apply to the portable chip operating at a low power by preventing leakage current. CONSTITUTION: A bidirectional input/output buffer for preventing the leakage current includes a tri-state output buffer(303) and a logical multiplying unit(305). The tri-state output buffer buffers the output data inputted to the inside of the chip in response to the output enable signal to transmit the buffered output data to the pad. And, the AND gate performs AND operation of the input enable signal and the input data applying to the pad and transmits the result to the inside of the chip.
