The unit includes a mica sheet in which a heating tape is wound. A stiffener (21) holds the mica sheet and forms one reflector. A plate is integrated to the stiffener and forms another reflector. The stiffener is separated from the mica sheet by one space (23). The stiffener has protrusions (24) in contact with the mica sheets and defines thickness of the space. An independent claim is also included for a toaster.
