PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can correct linearity of optical-electric signal output characteristics of an imaging element when high sensitively taking photograph is performed. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus having the imaging element which has a color filter, a black level correction value storage means is installed which memorizes black level correction value group of picture signals which are photographed by at least two kinds of taking photograph sensitivities beforehand. By using output signal values of the imaging apparatus which are photographed by at least two kinds of taking photograph sensitivities and using the black level correction value group, black balance of output signal value of the imaging element which is photographed by arbitrary sensitivity is changed.
