PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a data updating in a precise and simple calculation procedure with a minimized memory capacity even if an updatable area for storing data to be updated on a memory is discontinuous due to inclusion of another area or the like. SOLUTION: A differential data generation and transmission part 110 comprises a code area information file 115 corresponding to a code area layout information in the data storage memory 121 of a differential data restoration part 120. In the restoration part 124 of the differential data restoration part 120, updated data are restored from differential data and data before updating in reference to a reference range designated by a rewrite address generated on the basis of the code area information file 115. According to this, the updated data can be prevented from being restored with referring to over another area, and the updated data can be precisely restored in a minimized simple processing step.
