PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical-image forming material which has a uniform color-developed image with high density and excellent stability and which can be stably manufactured with a small coating amount. SOLUTION: The optical-image forming material has a optical-image forming layer on at least one surface of a supporting body, the layer containing a reducing agent and microcapsules containing a leuco dye which can develop a color by oxidation and a photo-oxidizing agent. The photo-image forming layer is formed by curtain coating with a coating liquid, and the viscosity of the coating liquid ranges from 30 to 300 mPa s. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
