PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of sufficiently and stably heating a printing medium, eliminating the problem such as paper wrinkling in a printing-medium conveyance, and being made high in operation speed, small in size and low in price. SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with an auxiliary roller (3), which moves the printing medium along the peripheral edge of a heating roller (1), on the upstream or downstream side in the conveyance direction (T) of the printing medium (6) at a nip part (7) between the heating roller (1) and a pressure roller (2).
