PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To very easily assemble a sheet material loading part while miniaturizing a device body when assembling the sheet material loading part into a sheet material feeding device through a pulling spring. SOLUTION: In this sheet material feeding device, the pulling spring 53 for energizing the sheet material loading part 7 toward a feeding roller 9 is attached to the sheet material loading part while holding it at the attitude where it is put down toward a spring hooking part 71a on a device body 71 side by a guide part 7d provided in the sheet material loading part, and the other end hook part of the pulling spring 53 is merely hooked to the spring hooking part 71a on the device body side when assembling to complete assembly.
