PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservoir control device for unchangeably holding tension of a web stored in a reservoir. SOLUTION: A speed comparator 44 compares a speed V1 determined from a speed indicating signal from a first speed setter 40 with a speed V2 determined from a speed indicating signal from a second speed setter 42, and outputs an addition indicating signal to an additional tension setter 46 from the speed comparator 44 when determining that the speed V1 is faster than the speed V2. The additional tension setter 46 receiving the addition indicating signal outputs predetermined additional tension Tp to an adder 48. Since set preset tension Tr is outputted to the adder 48 from a tension setter 50, the additional tension Tp is added to the preset tension Tr by the adder 48, and added tension Ts is determined, and the added tension Ts is outputted to a current-hydraulic pressure converter 52.
