PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid sump from being formed between a coating gun and a counter member when coating low viscosity liquid by a contact type coating. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the absorptive article has a coating process of coating the low viscous liquid L on a top sheet 11. The coating process coats the low viscosity liquid L thereon using the coating gun, which has a liquid feed passage 1 formed in the central part for feeding the low viscosity liquid L and air feed passages 2 and 2 for feeding the pressurized air formed in front or the back of the liquid feed passage 1, with the distal end of the coating gun G in contact with the top sheet 11 so as to prevent the liquid sump from being formed between the coating gun and the counter member.
