The arrangement has a control element movable between a pulled-out position (P1) for setting the brake and a pushed-in position (P7) for releasing the brake. A central position (P4) of the control element is provided, towards which it is biased in the pushed-in and pulled-out positions. An evaluation device outputs different control signals for an actuator in the different positions. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a parking brake for a vehicle, especially for a goods vehicle .
