Calibration method for fuel injection system of combustion engine of motor vehicle determining change of operation value of combustion engine and increasing operation duration of actuator until operation value changes

The method involves determining if a variation of an operation value of the combustion engine is within a preset variation. An injection actuator is additionally operated with preset operation duration if the value is within the variation. It is determined if the operation value of the combustion engine has changed with the additional operation and the operation duration of the actuator is increased stepwise until the operation value changes. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for calibrating a fuel injection system.
