The invention relates to the use of a combination of an agrochemical active substance and a solid matrix material coating said active substance in order to prevent antagonistic interactions in a mixture that consists of the matrix material coating the active substance and at least one further agrochemical active substance. Preferred formulations that contain such a combination comprise herbicides combined with an matrix material together with a safener and or a growth regulator. The formulations according to the invention allow the suppression of antagonistic interactions between different active substances.
