DEFLECTION YOKE OF COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to achieve improved heat radiation properties of the deflection yoke by allowing for a smoothness of transmission of convective heat between a horizontal deflection coil and a vertical deflection coil. CONSTITUTION: A color cathode ray tube comprises an electron gun for emitting red, green, and blue electron beams; a deflection yoke for deflecting the electron beams by using horizontal deflection current and vertical deflection current; a shadow mask for discriminating colors of three electron beams; and a screen where images are reproduced by the collision of the electron beam. The deflection yoke includes a square type horizontal deflection coil and a square type holder(31), and a circular type vertical deflection coil and a circular type ferrite core. The holer has a plurality of air ventilation holes(33) for heat radiation.
