摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas phase reduction method using a gaseous reducing agent by improving a liquid phase reduction method using a liquid reducing agent by a conventional technique in the manufacturing process of a catalyst used for the manufacture of acetic acid alkieny ester. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the catalyst for acetic acid alkenyl ester manufacture is performed as shown in a manufacturing process by (a) impregnating the surface of a catalyst support with a principal catalyst solution composed of oxidation type palladium metal and a co-catalyst solution composed of gold or copper and reducing the oxidation type metal by the gas phase reduction method using the gaseous reducing agent under a condition of 100-300&deg;C and 0-5 kg/cm<SP>2</SP>pressure and (b) impregnating the catalyst obtained by the reduction with a solution of an alkali metal compound and drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
