<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for a user to facilitate time rental for software. <P>SOLUTION: The user inputs an ID number of the software by a terminal 30 to be transmitted to an intermediation controller 40 in renting the software. The intermediation controller 40 sets a use permission key number based on the received ID number, and transmits a temporary file containing the key number to the terminal 30. The temporary file is stored in a temporary area of the software pre-installed in the terminal 30, and the software is allowed to be used during the period when the temporary file is stored. Data of a use condition for the software is transmitted to a maker server 20 under use of the software to calculate a rental, and a maker charges the rental to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
