WATER STOP DEVICE ON INNER FACE OF PIPE JOINT PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stop device on an inner face of a pipe joint having superior water stopping performance and workability, and being used without impairing the water stopping performance not only when the pipe joint part has the specific cross-sectional shape (perfect circle) but also when it has the specific cross-sectional shape deformed from the perfect circle in some degree.

SOLUTION: This water stop device on the inner face of the pipe joint part comprises a water stop rubber ring mounted in a state of covering the entire peripheral face of the inner face of the pipe joint part, and a fastening ring radially expandable to press and crimp the rubber ring to the inner face of the pipe joint part. The fastening ring comprises a ring main body made out of an iron thin plate, and rib parts projecting inward from at least both edge parts of the ring main body.
