COLUMN MODULE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column module integrally assembled with a meter, an electric connection box, a cable reel and a combination switch in advance.

SOLUTION: In this column module, the electric connection box 10 is arranged on a lower part of the meter 20, and a circuit of the electric connection box 10 and a circuit of the meter 20 are directly connected without a wire harness. A combination switch storing part 18 is projectingly provided from a front end of the electric connection box 10. A pair of left and right storing chambers of the combination switch storing part 18 and a cavity part for inserting a steering shaft S at the center are provided to connect the combination switches 30 stored in the storing chambers and the circuit within the electric connection box 10 without the wire harness. A front end opening of the combination switch storing part 18 is closed by a cover 41 for the cable reel. An annular fixed body 42 of the cable reel is integrally provided or is assembled and fixed on the cover 41 for the cable reel. A movable body of the cable reel connected to the steering shaft S is rotatably assembled to the fixed body 42.
