PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of increasing performance by increasing the heat transfer area of an indoor heat exchanger without increasing the height of an indoor unit body. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises at least the indoor heat exchanger, a blower, and an indoor unit having an intake port and an outlet port. A partition plate installed in the air conditioner connects, to each other, the end parts of the indoor heat exchanger disposed so as to surround the periphery of the blower positioned generally at the center of the indoor unit, and divides a space in the indoor unit into a primary space and a secondary space. The blower, primary space, indoor heat exchanger, secondary space, partition plate, primary space, indoor heat exchanger, and secondary space are disposed in this order in the radial direction from the blower.
