PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP telephone system of which the reproduction quality is enhanced by reducing delay and sound skipping.

SOLUTION: In the IP telephone system constituted so as to demodulate arrived voice data by using a jitter buffer, control is performed so that the delay of reproduction is reduced as much as possible by reducing the number of jitter buffers at a state that packets arrive without delay and the number of jitter buffers is increased at a communication state with much delay of packets.
