PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail receiving device and e-mail receiving program capable of properly ensuring the free space of an internal memory at low cost without requiring a complicated operation by a user, and receiving even an e-mail with a vast file exceeding the full capacity of the internal memory. SOLUTION: This e-mail receiving device comprises a mail management part 12 for performing receipt, storage and control of e-mails, the internal memory 14 for storing received mails, and a slot part 4 to which an external memory 4a is detachably attached. The mail management part 12 separately stores, on receipt of a mail, the attached file of the received mail in the external memory 4a, and stores the mail text and link information in the internal memory 14.
