PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display device that can be mounted over a long period by eliminating feeling of pressure to a side head part when using spectacles. SOLUTION: The head mounted display device comprises a rear arm 10 mounted on a rear head part of a user M and pressing the side head part with both ends, and speaker parts 15 and 16 provided on both the ends of the rear arm 10 and mounted on right and left ears. Notch parts 15B and 16B capable of passing sidepieces 51 and 52 of the spectacles 50 are formed on pad parts 15A and 16A pushed on the peripheries of the ears, and the pad parts 15A and 16A do not push the sidepieces 51 and 52.
