PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting conveyor with a cross sorter for smoothly traveling in a semicircular corner part of a traveling passage. SOLUTION: A large number of carrying units 1 are connected, and are made to travel on a loop-shaped carrying route, and an endless belt conveyor 2 arranged in the respective carrying units 1 in a sorting position is driven in the direction orthogonal to the traveling direction in the sorting position. A chassis of the carrying units is composed of a beam-like link 5 connectable to the front-rear ends via a connecting unit 14 and a base 7 fixed to the upper center of the link 5. A center guide wheel 8 is suspended by the connecting unit 14 of the link 6 end, and is allowed to abut on a guide rail of the carrying route. A traveling wheel 9 and a guide wheel 10 are arranged near both ends of the base 7, and are allowed to abut on both side guide rails of the carrying route. When traveling on a curve, the wheels 9 and 10 travel along a circular locus with a focus point of the carrying route as the center. The connecting unit 14 is installed by removably interposing a spacer in an end part of the link, and a shaft part of the center guide wheel 8 is supported in the connecting unit by a spherical sliding bearing.
