PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet paper accumulating and sorting device capable of securely accumulating and sorting sheet papers by automatic high speed operation. SOLUTION: This sheet paper accumulating and sorting device is composed of a cut-out sheet paper conveyance conveyor 1 conveying sheet paper S1 cut to predetermined dimension, a sheet paper counting sensor 2 counting the cut-out sheet papers S1 on the conveyor 1, a sheet paper accumulating mechanism 3 accumulating predetermined number of cut-out sheet papers S1, a receive base 4 receiving predetermined number of accumulated sheet papers S2 from the sheet paper accumulating mechanism 3, an accumulated sheet paper conveyance conveyor 5 conveying the accumulated sheet papers S2 on the receive base 4 to a sorting station, and a controller controlling operation timing of both conveyance conveyors 1, 5 and the sheet paper accumulating mechanism 3 based on a set input signal and a signal from the sheet paper counting sensor 2.
