The invention relates to a drive train for a working machine, preferably a wheel loader, which comprises an internal combustion engine (1) driving, via a primary clutch (2), a hydrodynamic torque converter (3) whose output drives a reducing gear (4). The driving engine (1) is connected to a power take-off (6) and drives a consumer (7). The driving engine (1) and the hydrodynamic torque converter are designed in such a manner that at standstill torque and non-activated consumer (7), the driving engine is operated close to its maximum torque. If in addition the consumer (7) is activated, the primary clutch (2) is actuated to be released to such an extent that a defined speed of the driving motor is maintained. |
