An image processing device comprising an image signal input unit (11) for inputting a plurality of image signals different in exposure time, first and second level conversion factors computing units (12, 13) for computing the level conversion factors of a plurality of image signals, a weighting factor computing unit (14) for computing the weighting factors of a plurality of image signals, and an adding unit (17) for adding a plurality of image signals multiplied by respective level conversion factors to those multiplied by respective weighting factors, whereby it is possible to simply obtain wide-dynamic-range images and reduce small image information defects due to the accumulation of processing delays and computing errors.
