Electric power device for portable device has at least one piezo-converter (4), preferably a multi-layer element connected to a device (19) for providing periodically effective pressure, and with the piezo-converter (4) connected on the output side with rectifier circuit for rectifying the voltage resulting from the periodically effective pressure on the piezo-converter (4) to provide an a.c. voltage with a continual uniform current flow guaranteed via the charge out-flow from the storage capacitor via a constant current circuit or via a stepdown-DC-DC-converter even during the pauses between the pressure acting on the piezo-converter (4).
