Method for control of an information mediation process, e.g. a virtual market, in which data requests (ND) submitted by a number of information users (K1-Kn) to a mediation control arrangement (2) and offer data (AD) are submitted by a number of suppliers (A1-An). A number of automatic parallel dialogue processes (P1-P4) are carried out between users and suppliers. Connections are monitored during dialogue processes and according to predefined statuses can be blocked. The dialogue processes are also examined according to predefined criteria and only those meeting the criteria are allowed to continue. An independent claim is made for a control arrangement for controlling automatic mediation processes.
