PURPOSE: A method for providing a callee setup message and an apparatus thereof are provided to transmit actual information directly set by a callee to a caller compared with the simply provided absent subscriber announcement. CONSTITUTION: A message set by a callee corresponding to a called terminal(210) is obtained. The callee setup message is connected with a called terminal identifier corresponding to the called terminal to store the callee setup message. A call connection request signal is received from a network. A confirmation message signal is transmitted to the network in response to the call connection request signal. A call path with a calling terminal(200) is recognized based on the confirmation message signal. The callee setup message connected with the called terminal identifier is extracted. The extracted callee setup message is transmitted to the calling terminal(200) by using the set cal path. |
