PURPOSE: An alarm system using a communication satellite and an alarming method thereof are provided to generate alarm signals within a short period of time in an emergency state by using a bidirectional communication method among an alarm generation unit, a plurality of alarm transceivers, and a plurality of local area alarm transceivers. CONSTITUTION: An alarm system using a communication satellite includes an alarm generation unit, a plurality of alarm transceivers, and a plurality of local area alarm transceivers. The alarm generation unit(100) generates and transmits an alarm message to report an emergency state and receives reception identification messages from the alarm transceivers. The alarm transceivers(110-1 to 110-N) are used for generating alarm signals according to the alarm message and transmitting the reception identification messages corresponding to the alarm message to the alarm generation unit. The local area alarm transceivers(130-1 to 130-A, 131-11 to 131-1B, 131-21 to 131-2C, 131-N1 to 131-NN) are used for receiving the alarm message, generating the alarm signals, and transmitting the reception identification messages corresponding to the alarm message to the alarm generation unit and the alarm transceivers.
