<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine and a composite machine having a copying function which give notice of a correct treatment method to a user by sorting the content of abnormality information for the user into abnormality due to the fault of hardware and accidental abnormality due to noises or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The copying machine and the composite machine each having a self-diagnostic function of checking its own state, stopping its operation when detecting the abnormality and displaying abnormality information are each provided with a storing means to store the abnormality information thereinto and a selection display means which has a plurality of display information for display in accordance with a abnormality content and selects and displays the display information in accordance with the number of times of the occurrence of the abnormality judged based on the abnormality information stored in the storing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
