<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor capable of improving the diagnosing performance and work efficiency of a physician in a low-cost system by automatically outputting a hard copy of a medical image in a display format suitable for a diagnosis to enable the physician to easily and rapidly refer to and utilize diagnosis support information in reading without changing the conventional flow of nosocomial work. <P>SOLUTION: In this image processor 10, diagnosis support information on image data inputted from an image input means 11 is prepared, and image processing suitable for the diagnosis is applied to the inputted image data to form a main image, while image processing suitable for reference is applied to form an auxiliary image. The size adjustment of each image and the fitting position determination of the auxiliary image are performed so that the auxiliary image does not interfere with the diagnosis of the main image.
