发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING POSITION AND ATTITUDE OF OBJECT BY ROBOT
摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily detect the datum position and the attitude of an object when receiving information on a RFID tag by an electromagnetic wave receiving device provided on a robot manipulator. <P>SOLUTION: The RFID tag sending information of the object stored in memory from an antenna is provided on the object, receiving strength is measured at three positions at least not on a straight line by measuring signal from the tag by the electromagnetic wave receiving device mounted on the robot manipulator operated by a computer. Receiving strength is converted into distance between the tag and the electromagnetic receiving device, the datum position of the tag is detected based on distances between the three tag positions and the electromagnetic wave receiving device. The robot manipulator is moved along a spherical surface centering on the datum position, a position where receiving strength is highest by receiving signal from the tag at a plurality of positions and measuring receiving strength. The attitude of the tag, namely the attitude of the object can be detected with considering the position where receiving strength is highest, as a front surface of the tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
