摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary phase adjuster capable of supplying electric power that corresponds to various loads of different voltage capacity, current capacity, or system power capacity, or of a load of the different number of phases and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary phase adjuster 10 comprises an induction machine 13 that, made up of a plurality of winding elements, has primary windings (stator windings) 15 and secondary windings (rotor windings) 16 each connected to at least one electric power system, and a torque controller 17 that, mechanically connected to the rotor of the induction machine 13, adjusts a voltage phase difference between the stator windings 15 and the rotor windings 16 of the induction machine 13. At least one of the stator windings 15 and the rotor windings 16 is formed by connecting the winding elements in series or parallel, or structured by combining groups of winding elements 24a, 24b made up of the winding elements alone.
