<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer of a one-way clutch with good assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: In this retainer 1 of the one-way clutch, when a cylindrical engagement roller 20 is inserted into a pocket 6 adjoining a coil spring 21 from an outer side to an inner side in the radial direction, an insertion position of the cylindrical engagement roller 20 in the circumferential direction can be determined by using a top part 13 approximately at an vertex of a regular decagonal column shape of an outer peripheral surface 3A of an axial end 3, as a mark.
