<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which has a narrow frame and does not have conduction faults due to a short-circuit. <P>SOLUTION: In the touch panel, an upper substrate 11 in which a transparent electrode 13 and a pull-around electrode 15b are disposed on a lower surface of a transparent insulative substrate 12 and a lower substrate 1 in which a transparent electrode 3, a pull-around electrode 5b and a plurality of dot spacers 8 formed on the transparent electrode 3 are oppositely arranged with a prescribed gap and sealed by rotating around outer peripheral areas of the upper and lower substrates 1, 11 by an insulative sealing material 57. At least a part of the electrode 15b on the upper substrate 12 and at least a part of the electrode 5b on the lower substrate 1 are disposed in overlapping each other adjacent inside of the sealing with a described gap, and an insulative sheet 55 is disposed in the gap between the overlapped electrodes 15b, 15b.
