<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance optical printer head capable of improving printing quality of a tandem type image forming apparatus or the like using a plurality of optical printer heads, and its manufacturing method, as well as a tandem image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An element mounting substrate, which mounts a plurality of light emitting element array chips linearly aligned, a circuit element for performing the time division drive of the light emitting element array chips and the ON, OFF control circuit elements of the light emitting elements, is fixed to a base plate. Furthermore, a lens holder for holding lens arrays is arranged above the light emitting array chips, so as to correspond to the light emitting array chips one by one. This optical printer head is provided with two or more recognition markers for mounting the light emitting element array chips, and with two or more a tapping hole for a machine mounting reference pin provided to a specified position at a prescribed distance from the recognition markers for mounting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
