<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-dimension FIR filter for reducing the redundancy number. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid type and transposition type multi-dimension finite time impulse response filter is disclosed. In order to simultaneously process multi-dimension signals, the multi-dimension signals can be presented in the form of a vector (matrix). The known hybrid type and transposition type FIR filter is expanded in the case of multi-dimension for processing the multi-dimension signals with a little redundancy. The disclosed FIR filter is equipped with a multiplier for matrix multiplication using a number of coefficients and an adder for vector addition using a number of inputs/outputs.
