摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it has been difficult to implement accurate and safe navigation in a strong current of air and a tidal current since the effects of an angle of inclination can not have been considered when the current of air or the tidal current is computed. SOLUTION: In the high-performance GPS, three GPS reception antennas are used to compute an angle of inclination and an azimuth angle on the basis of the positions of the reception antennas acquired by radio waves from GPS satellites. The output of an airspeed sensor or a speed-through-water sensor is converted into a navigation coordinate system on the basis of the angle of inclination and the azimuth angle. The speed and direction of the current of air or the tidal current are computed on the basis of both the converted speed and airspeed acquired by GPS.
