PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device and an image formation process which form multi-level image with more precision without complicated control. SOLUTION: Luminescent parts 51 with two or more optical sources 51-1 is installed in exposure method 5 of image formation device 1. Those optical sources 51-1 are arranged horizontally in the scanning direction of scanning line on photosensitive drum 3. Laser beam injected by each optical source 51-1 is reflected at spinning polygon mirror 55, and is irradiated to photosensitive drum 3. At this time, each laser beam irradiates identical scanning line one after another. By exposing to those pixels not able to be developed again with the first exposure as exposure time is too short, the electric potential becomes higher than latent image formation electric potential level, and development can be performed.
