PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce work and time required for inspecting the leakage of water of an end part of a fire-fighting hose and enabling a repetitive use of water used for the inspection. SOLUTION: The inspection device comprises an inspection device body 1, a pressurization pump 2 and a hose clamp member 3. The inspection device body 1 comprises a water tank 8 and an assembly pipe 9 arranged up and down on a body frame 7. The water leakage from the end part of the hose 11 is inspected by filling water in the water tank 8 while a feed valve 10 is closed, connecting the end part of the hose 11 to a hose connection port 12, clamping the hose 11 at proximity of the end part with a hose clamping member 3, pouring water into the pressurization pump 2 while a faucet 22 is closed, connecting a pump hose 13 to a hose connecting port 14, opening the feed valve 10 to fill water to the end part of the hose 11, closing the feed valve 10, and opening the faucet 22 to pressurize inside of the end part of the hose 11 by the pressurization pump 2. After the inspection, the water in the end part of the hose 11 and in the assembly pipe 9 is brought back to the water tank 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
