PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that is excellent in user-friendliness. SOLUTION: A metal heat sink 51 is mounted to a circuit board 46 oppositely to a vent 56 communicating with the exhaust side of an electric blower. An insulating sheet 55 is mounted to cover the flat plate portion 51b of the heat sink 51. A regulating piece portion 55d performing a positional regulation so as to hold a lead wire 52 led out from the circuit board 46 in a fitting recess 54 is provided in the sheet 55. Even if a conductive pin is mistakenly inserted into the vent 56, the pin and the heat sink 51 can be unerringly insulated by the sheet 55.
