PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size optical system which easily generates high magnification and easily corrects various aberrations. SOLUTION: The system has a plurality of optical faces A to C including at least a first face A having a reflective effect and a second face C which reflects the rays reflected on the first face and makes the rays again propagate to the first face. The first face reflects the principal rays of the center angle of view, the rays re-entering from the second face to the first face, in the opposite to the direction by the first reflection with respect to the normal line at the hit point of the principal rays on the first face.
