PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent temperature rise of a scroll compressor, and deterioration of efficiency by an influence of a compression spacing because of inconstant thermal expansion coefficient. SOLUTION: Lap height 9 of a swing scroll 2 with large thermal expansion coefficient is set lower than lap height 8 of a stationary scroll 1 in consideration of expansion due to temperature rise at the time of operation. The lap height of a winding start side scroll lap with high temperature rise is set lower than that of a winding end side scroll lap with low temperature rise.
