PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating test device and a heating test method of an exhaust system member where the atmosphere of the test could be made more similar to the atmosphere under the condition that the exhaust member is mounted on an engine. SOLUTION: The test device comprises an introducing pipe 1 for introducing compressed air compressed so as to have a high pressure and an air-metering valve 3 for metering the compressed air. Inside the introducing pipe 1, a first combustor 4 and a second burner 8 are arranged downstream the air-metering valve 3. Both the first combustor 4 and the second combustor 8 are combustors for a turbine generator. The first combustor 4 is equipped with a heat chamber 5, a nozzle 6 for emitting a jet of combustion fuel, and an ignition plug 7. The second combustor 8 is also equipped with a heat chamber 9, a nozzle 10 for emitting a jet of combustion fuel, and an ignition plug 11. The introducing pipe 1 is connected to a flexible pipe 12 whose downstream side diverges in a plurality of passages.
