PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency, miniaturize, reduce the weight, reduce the cost and improve the reliability in a scroll compression device for helium. SOLUTION: The scroll compression device 910 for helium stores a scroll compressor 100 having a compressor part for compressing helium gas and an electric motor for driving it, an oil separator 700 for separating lubricating oil out of helium gas discharged from the scroll compressor 100, a gas cooler 710 for cooling helium gas flowed in from it, an oil cooler 33 for cooling lubricating oil, and a controller 400 for drive controlling the scroll compressor 100 in a unit. The scroll compressor 100 is provided with an oil injecting mechanism 31 for injecting lubricating oil cooled with the oil cooler 33 into the compressor part by a differential pressure. The electric motor is composed of a three-phase quadrupoled DC specified motor.
