PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux-containing wire for gas shielded arc welding for corrosion-resistant steel with which defective fusion at a groove face is not developed, drip-down of bead is not developed, the welding workability in the whole posture is good, the outward appearance of a penetrating bead is good and also, the welded metal having excellent corrosion resistance can be obtained. SOLUTION: The flux-containing wire for gas shielded arc welding for corrosion resistant steel filling the flux on the soft steel-made or alloy steel-made outer shell contains, by per total mass of the wire, 4-10% TiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.2-0.8% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0.3-1.0% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.5-1.5% Si, 1.0-2.5% Mn, 0.1-0.5% Al, 0.1-0.5% Mg, 0.05-0.5% Cu, 1.0-1.5% Cr, 0.05-0.5% Ni and 0.03-0.12% fluorine compound (conversion value to F) and MgO and ZrO<SB>2</SB>are regulated to≤0.1% and≤0.2% respectively.
